The Air Jordan 1 Mid is notoriously known for its experimentation. From color, material, and inspiration, the model is touted as a testing ground for the OG High’s future releases. Recently we’ve seen everything from color-changing to color-in kicks — and even ice cream-inspired options for kids. Now the silhouette has taken a turn to the outdoors with this Air Jordan 1 Mid “Trail” ostensibly looking to heritage hiking shoes for motivation.
The pair comes clad in a full canvas construction, with both light and dark chocolate hues working in unison across the upper. Black is ushered in at the nylon tongues, outdoor-inspired reflective laces, and leather Checks — the latter tacked on with contrast tan stitching to mimic classic hiking boots. A sail midsole is sandwiched between the earthy upper and a blackened-brown outsole beneath, with the pair completed by some final hiking shoe facets like fleece liners and 3M reflective pops at the heel.
A release date for this outdoor-inspired Air Jordan 1 Mid “Trail” has not yet been announced, but you should expect to see pairs arrive over the Fall/Winter season.
