Valentine’s Day has recently become a big event for footwear brands, with the Hallmark holiday now one of the most active for themed releases in the calendar year. There really is no better gift for your significant sneakerhead other than a fresh pair of kicks to show that you care, and the Swoosh once again delivered a stellar year in 2021 with a handful of love letter drops, amongst many others. This year, the brand will continue its loved-up schedule by delivering a handful of special-edition releases, including the Nike Dunk Low and a handful of Air Jordan 1s. The latter category can add one more, with the surfacing of this rose-riddled Air Jordan 1 Mid “Valentine’s Day” for 2022.

Served up on tumbled white leather and color-matched ballistic mesh is a slew of rosy hues, from light lilac at the forefoot, to muted magenta at the back. From there, striking crimson Wings motifs and patent leather Checks add some striking contrast. The backside shoes a trio of flowers in already-used hues, with the same pigments appearing again at the tongue and insole branding. The pair is then completed by a set of sail laces, and a two-tone white and lilac outsole.
