This Mid Comes Inspired by a Memorable Air Jordan Campaign from 2008
Anyone else miss these ads? ๐ข
Itโs been a minute since Jordan Brand have used an ad campaign for inspiration. Sure there was the โI wanna beโ Gatorade spot that inspired 2017โs duo of Air Jordan 6s and quartet of Jordan 1s, but using their own campaign as an influence hasnโt bee seen in a while
โ correct me if Iโm wrong, but the last Jordan Brand ad campaign that was turned into a sneaker was the Fear pack?
Set to take on 2008โs Airย Jordan 23โs โBecome Legendaryโ campaign is the mid-cut Air Jordan 1. Featuring the simplest of executions, including a glossy black leather construction on the upper and contrasting white accents found underneath the Swoosh, tongue, laces and midsole. The shoeโs standout feature is seen on the tongue tag, which bears the quote โMaybe I Destroyed the Game,โ from the TV spot mentioned above.
