OG Post 05.05.20 // We’re not even halfway through 2020, and yet release details for Jordan Brand’s 2021 schedule continue to surface. So much so, that we’ve already decided to compile a list of releases for next year right here. The latest to join that list is a release now confirmed to celebrate the NFL’s big day, with Air Jordan 12 Low “Superbowl LV” in Black, Metallic Gold, and Varsity Red set to touch down in early February.

Sneaker sleuth @SHOFdropped the info for the pair earlier today, but the details provided are bare — as expected this far out from the new year. The source has confirmed that the pair will arrive in early 2021.

According to @zsneakerheadz, this release will be in celebration of the annual NFL Superbowl. A release date has been pegged for February 6th — a day before the big game. A first look at the Air Jordan 12 Low “Superbowl LV” is still yet to arrive, but with a release nearing ever closer, those looks shouldn’t be too far away.

A first look at the Air Jordan 12 Low “Superbowl LV” has now been revealed, courtesy of @zsneakerheadz, and as expected, the pair does differ greatly from speculative mock-up floating around. For the actual release, we’ll see a pair clad in black canvas, with Flu Game-like finishes to the outsole and mudguard overlays. Eyelets and mid-panel plates arrive in Vince Lombardi Trophy gold, while liners appear to feature a confetti graphic finish — a style that’s replicated on the special-edition boxing. With Tamba hosting the game next month, it’s fitting that the ribbon in the rear is a direct nod to retro Bucs uniforms (in fact, the entire colorway nods the Bucs) while the reverse side of the tag reads Tampa’a area code, 813.
