First reported by DJ Folk back in March this year, the Air Jordan 12 “Reverse Taxi” was one a handful of leaked drops, which also included an “Island Nights” Air Jordan 13, a Chi-City-themed pair of Air Jordan 9s and a Reverse He Got Game Air Jordan 13. While that was a long time ago, only now are we beginning to see some first looks at the pairs, with the Air Jordan 9 surfacing late last week, and just now, a first look at the “Reverse Taxi” Air Jordan 12 — and it arrives almost identical to our original mock-up.
The pair arrives with a rich black suede upper paired with dusty black leather mudguards, black hits on the midsole and a crispy white outsole. Metallic gold upper eyelets stay true to the OG Jordan 12 “Taxi”, while the tongue detail arrives in red embroidery.
