Where to Buy Cyber Monday’s Air Jordan 12 “Dark Grey”

Collective hearts broke when we reported that this release wouldn’t be a retro of the beloved “Flint” Air Jordan 12 — but those pains were soon eased when first looks surfaced. To most people’s surprise, the “Dark Grey” Jordan 12 was a close cousin to the early 00’s colorway, arriving in a very similar makeup bar a few extra hits of red, slightly different shades of grey, extra metallic hardware, and double-stitched uppers. Liners and heel pulls are different, too, but this is as close as you’ll get to a Flint retro for a long, long time ahead — and people were actually happy for once (fuck me, right?!)

Update 09.21.19 First looks at this December’s “Dark Grey” Air Jordan 12 have surfaced, and as expected, it’s not going to be a retro of the fan-favorite Flint colorway (as if we’d ever get what we want!) — but it is remarkably similar. It rocks a white leather base paired with a lighter shade of grey on the outsole and mudguard and adds in grey liners and heel pulls. Metallic silver hardware has been included at the midfoot, and — for something a little different — zig-zagging stitching rides the Rising Sun-inspired indentations.
