Nearly two decades after its debut, the largely overlooked Air Jordan 17 Low is rumored to return in 2024.
@zSneakerHeadz has teased the return of this silhouette, although not much is known about the model's retro cycle.
The shoe was designed by Wilson Smith III — of More Uptempo fame — and worn by Michael Jordan during his first season with the Washington Wizards, including the legendary "Lightning" colorway from the 2002 NBA All-Star Game. When it first debuted in February 2002, the sneaker was the most expensive Air Jordan, partly due to its unique features: metal briefcase and CD-ROM, inspired by traveling jazz musicians.
Stay tuned for updates on the Nike SNKRS launch date for the retro release, which will likely be revealed as Spring 2024 approaches.
Until then, reacquaint yourself with some of the original colorways below.
