Jordan Brand has always shown a penchant for pinching colorways from other models. The practice has been more prolific in recent times, with the likes of the Air Jordan 3 “Cardinal,” to the upcoming Air Jordan 7 “White Infrared” and Air Jordan 6 “Toro Bravo” each borrowing colorways from their sister silhouettes. Continuing down that path for 2023, Jordan Brand will look to another fan-favorite colorway — with a twist — as an Air Jordan 2 “Cool Grey” is now confirmed for Spring 2023.

First revealed by sneaker-leakers Sole Retriever back in September 2022, the pair has remained unsighted until now, confirming that the pair will not be a direct copy of the AIr Jordan 11 of the same name. Instead, the pair will arrive drenched in supple suede with an abundance of “Ice Blue” accents to boot; See the laces, tongue branding, rear clip and overlay trim. It all sits atop a sail-tinted sole unit, with a grey and blue rubber outsole resting underfoot.

Pairs are expected to release on May 4th, 2023.
