The somewhat uncalled-for resurgence of the Air Jordan 2 continues in 2024, with a second release of the model revealed for the first month of the new year — this one a premium Air Jordan 2 “Python.”

The shoe's foundation sits a clean white leather upper, providing a canvas for the eye-catching details. A jet-black contrast takes center stage, adorning the tongue tab, inner lining, tongue trim, and the heel’s spine. Adding a touch of heritage to the design, a "University Red" logo graces the heel, injecting a reminder of the brand's roots in Chicago to the ensemble. The midsole, laces, and eyestays adopt a soothing "Sail" tone, ensuring the overall color scheme remains well-balanced and on-trend. But it’s the mid-foot overlay, which is crafted in a distinctive python snakeskin texture, that takes center stage. This premium touch adds depth and texture to the design while aligning with the shoe's exotic theme. The python texture is mirrored by the "Mauve" colored tread underfoot, completing the reptilian-inspired look.
