The upcoming SoleFly x Air Jordan 3 collaboration has hit an unexpected roadblock after multiple pairs were reportedly stolen while in transit to Nike’s Memphis distribution center.
SoleFly issued an official statement confirming the incident, saying:
“Multiple pairs of the SoleFly Jordan 3s and their boxes were stolen while in transit to Nike’s Memphis distribution center. Nike, Inc. is currently investigating the situation. Unfortunately, this incident may impact the timing of the planned release.”
While details remain limited, the theft is believed to be part of a broader issue involving stolen Nike goods — a problem that has resurfaced multiple times this year following several arrests tied to stolen inventory. Memphis, long a key logistics hub for Nike, has seen similar incidents in the past, where limited-edition sneakers were intercepted before reaching retailers.
The SoleFly x Air Jordan 3 collaboration was among the most anticipated releases of the season, combining the boutique’s Miami roots with Jordan Brand’s classic design DNA. With the investigation ongoing, it’s unclear how much of the original stock was compromised or whether the release date will be officially postponed.
Stay tuned for updates as more details surface regarding Nike’s investigation and the revised release timeline for the Air Jordan 3 x SoleFly collaboration.
