Having just entered 2021, it seems a bit ridiculous to be dropping leaks and rumors for 2022, right? But when it comes to any OG Air Jordan colorway, it’s never too early to start mouthing about it. This time we’re talking about the Air Jordan 6 “White Infrared”, which has been rumored to release in the new year, according to Japanese sneaker sleuths FullRes.
With 2021 being the silhouette’s 30th anniversary, it would make sense that a reissue would occur this year, but given COVID delays and large-scale pushbacks, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the retro would settle into a 2022 release. If the rumors are true, you would absolutely expect the pair to release in its OG form with Nike Air branding throughout, unlike the last two releases from 2016 and 2010 which utilized the Jumpman.
GOAT has provided some detailed images of the 2010 release here below, which features a more in-line Infrared over 2016’s Infra-Pink — so should the murmurs turn out to be true, you should expect it to look a little like that, with NA branding, of course.
With a rumored release well over 12 months away, it’s good to keep your eyes locked on our official Twitter account for updates over the year.
