Awake NY Unveils Air Jordan 6 in Spring '26 Lookbook

Awake NY and Jordan Brand are expanding their collaborative catalog with a new footwear and apparel collection come September 2026. The project centers around two Air Jordan 6 retro styles.

According to Sneaker Files and X user @zSneakerHeadz, the sneakers will arrive in "Playful Pink" and "Midnight Navy" ensembles not too dissimilar from Angelo Baque and company's highly-praised Air Jordan 5 collaboration. The special takes on Tinker Hatfield's beloved design will coincide with the model's 35th anniversary.

Initial speculative mock-ups of Angelo Baque and company's work for the Jumpman took much more traditional approaches to both retro styles. On Feb. 23, however, Awake NY previewed its "Midnight Navy" AJ6 via its Spring '26 Collection's lookbook, confirming that our in-house concept was inaccurate.

Instead of following a rather tonal execution as its predecessors did, the impending collab sees a much more experimental finish (at least on the "Midnight Navy" option). The sneaker keeps the "Infrared" Air Jordan 6's sole unit intact, but reimagines the upper via different shades of blue. Additionally, panels see contrast stitching that adds further depth to the sneaker. Lastly, Awake NY's A logo lands on the lateral mid-foot, though with a smaller footprint than was the case on the Air Jordan 5.

The upcoming collection reportedly includes a concise lineup of wardrobe staples: two polo shirts, a t-shirt, a track jacket, and a matching pair of track pants. While imagery of the pieces has yet to surface, the collaboration is expected to embody Awake NY’s refined yet bold approach to everyday wear—merging premium fabrics and subtle co-branding with Jordan’s timeless athletic DNA.

Expect more details and official imagery of the Awake NY x Air Jordan 6 Collection to arrive by June 2026.
