It seems that we can’t even go a week without hearing more sneaker news from Travis Scott. The Houston rapper made headlines again mere days ago with a handful of fresh looks at one of his five upcoming Air Max 1 releases. Today it’s an Air Jordan, this one harkening back to La Flame’s first Jordan Retro effort on the Air Jordan 4. Surfacing today via sample collector @thejordanvault23, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 “Houston Oilers” shares a palette familiar to fans of the football franchise, arriving clad in bright blue suede in a shag similar to that seen on Scott’s recent “British Khaki” release. Midsoles share the same hue, whilst eyestays, tongues, and shrouds all feature a royal canvas finish. Vibrant red accents assume the same formation as his previous Air Jordan 6 efforts, while translucent whites at the tongue tip and heel clip work with the midsole paint and milky outsole for brightness. lastly, the pair is completed with dual ankle pockets, a translucent outsole, and Cactus Jack branding scattered throughout the sole unit.
Update // It has been confirmed that the OP’s imagery is, in fact, merely a Photoshop render of the British Khaki release.
If you’re after some Jordan News that a little bit more concrete, you can check out of dedicated Air Jordan Release Calendar to see what Air Jordans are confirmed for release soon.
