Corduroy clout.
Is it possible to add more clout to the Air Jordan 1?
Chase Shiel and Fiamma Studios just did.
The duo have teamed up for a third time, this time closing out the year with their version of the most sought-after sneaker of 2018, featured on the universally loved Air Jordan One — a Concept we, HOUSE OF HEAT, have visited before.
Sheil, famously known for his work on the Air Jordan 1 “Mars Yard,” returns with a fresh flex on the 1985 classic, utilizing design cues from Sean Wotherspoon’s industry-flipping Air Max 97/1.
Wanting more than a standard panel-changing rendition onto the Air Jordan 1, the guys took the 97’s iconic flowing waves one step further — curving the waves from the toe box, to the midsection through to where traditionally the heel panel has been.
And just like the 97/1, velcro was a strong focus, with tongue patches and interchangeable swooshes to suit your mood.
Fancy a new flex? These hit Chase’s website on the 25th November at 11am EST
