Just yesterday we posted up a Concept Air Jordan 5 based off an unreleased sample from 2006 — and whilst it was well-received by our followers, many were more intrigued by the Air Jordan 3 that also featured in the in-hand image:
The pair in question was part of Jordan Brand’s 2007 deliberations — a year in which we saw the return of the OG “Fire Red”, along with classics like the “Black Cat”, the duo of Flips and the “Pure Money”. Unfortunately, this Air Jordan 3 “Citrus” didn’t make the cut — but we’re not too sure why. Perhaps it was just a bit too colorful for the 2006 sneaker scene — but it would be no anomaly in 2020. And — like the Grey/Burgundy previewed above — the quality is incredible.
Hopefully, the stars will align one day and we get to see these hit retail. Until then, enjoy a look at the pair above, and our mock-up below, and be sure to tell us your thoughts on the concept over on Instagram!
