Space Flight.
As simple as it gets, the Black/Concord colorway, made famous by 1996’s Air Jordan 11 from Space Jam looks good on just about anything. Case and point, this week’s upcoming Air Jordan 11 Low IE, a sneaker that’s often (unfairly) flamed, a release that’s getting even the most skeptical IE supporters on board. We’ve seen the combo hit Jordan Brand performance shoes, low-budget pairs, hybrids, and even the signature line back in 2017. Retro silhouettes (aside from the IE, of course) seem to be a no-go — and we’re not sure why.
So let’s try and tilt JB into doing something about it.
Here we present an Air Jordan 4 — my personal favorite silhouette — in buttery black tumbled leather, paired with the iconic white midsole and icy outsole combo, complete with Concord hits on the tongue Jumpman and heel Air branding. Nike/Swoosh heel branding in stark white and Concord-tinted Air units complete the design. As simple as it gets, the colorway leaves nowhere for a silhouette/design to hide, which is what makes the 4 a perfect choice, should Jordan Brand bend and cave to the demand of the people.
So, if you love it, share it around on social — let’s get this seen (and hopefully produced)
