Before we close out the Kid’s 25th anniversary of his signature Nike silhouette, we just had to pay tribute to Junior one more time. Late last year, we introduced his famed “Freshwater” hue to the Concept Lab for the very first time. Now, almost 12 months later, we’re here to close the loop with a sneaker 5 years it’s senior. Here, we’ve modeled this Air Jordan 6 “Freshwater” on the Kid’s OG White/Black, and delivered it upon OG-inspired Carmine blocking — both of which re-released earlier this year.

Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” (2021 Release)
As you can see, the Griffey Air Max 1 and Air Jordan 6 share a love for white leather, nubuck, and black and white, which made the marry-up a match made in heaven. The result? Awesome. A simple red suede swap to the titular hue, black Nike Air branding in the rear, and the ever-important pop of red on the lace lock and underfoot Jumpman; It’s just as sweet as The Kid’s swing.
