For the Fam.
In the build up to last year’s highly-anticipated “Houston Oilers” Air Jordan 4, Travis Scott donned a duo of Family and Friends pairs of the same silhouette. One was the well-documented Purple PE, the other arrived in Olive. The latter has been elusive on the resale market and therefore evasive to detailed looks on the net — until now.
The unreleased sample features similar details to the pair on Travis’ feet at Houston’s Cactus Jack Block Party last September. The upper arrives in olive nubuck, with hits of black spotted on the tongue, wings and midsole. Red co-branding is featured on the heel tab with the OG Nike Air on the left, and Scott’s ‘”Cactus Jack” motif on the right. And their hard-to-come-by nature means that these are fetching a pretty penny. The seller of this size 12 is asking for $14,500.
Although this pair was rumored to release late last year, it’s unlikely we’ll see them at retail, especially considering the catalogue of Travis Scott collabs already rumored for 2019 including the Air Jordan 33 later this month and an Air Jordan 1 High and Low later this year .
But never say never, right? Stay tuned for more.
