Following up on the limited friends-and-family release celebrating the 35th anniversary of Spike Lee’s “Do The Right Thing” in September last year, Jordan Brand is set to deliver a wider launch of the Spizike Low in a similar colorway, sans the extras.
The general-release version keeps the core look intact. Crisp white leather forms the base, met by elephant print overlays at the toe and heel. Accents of Fire Red and Pine Green run through the eyelets, tongue toggles, and heel pulls, giving a subtle nod to the palette of Sal’s Pizzeria—the film’s iconic setting. Unlike the celebratory edition, this pair skips out on the “LOVE/HATE” insoles, 40 Acres branding, lace dubraes, and special packaging. Instead, it focuses purely on the sneaker’s bold colors and hybrid construction.
Fusing DNA from the Air Jordan 3, 4, 5, and 6, the Spizike has long been tied to Spike Lee’s relationship with Jordan Brand. This new release keeps that spirit alive with understated storytelling and versatile street appeal.
The general-release Jordan Spizike Low “Do The Right Thing” is expected to hit select retailers and Nike.com in the coming weeks.
