It Looks Like the Ultra-Rare Alternate Patta x Air Jordan 7 Will Release This Friday

As if the originals weren’t hard enough to get, Patta’s second-up effort on the Air Jordan 7, pictured above and below, is said to be ultra-limited. That means there will be significantly fewer pairs than the 7,600 produced on their Mocha-based drop.

Rocking the same material make-up, color blocking, and midsole detail, this pair of rare Air swaps out its mink underlays for a cool blue-cream “Icicle” and it’s brown overlays for deep green. Midsoles, outsoles, and tongues all make the change to fit the upper, while the ankle Jumpman motifs remain red, albeit a little lighter in hue.

Update 06.16.19 // After yesterday’s successful drop on the Velvet Brown Patta x Air Jordan 7s, official looks at the alternate green “Icicle pair have arrives. And when official images of rare pairs like these hit Nike servers, that typically means one thing: an impending Nike SNKRS release. While details are still TBA, you can enjoy both the official image set and a detailed in-hand look at the pair below, which is claimed to be produced at around 1000 units —  can anyone else smell the L already?

Update 10.15.19 // After a long-winded radio silence, the Euro retailers have hinted at a release for the Sequoia-based pair, taking to Twitter to unveil a release date for Friday, October 18th. Patta didn’t directly refer to the Jordan 7 as the specified release, but we can all put two and two together:

Take a peep at the official image set below, and stay tuned for more info surrounding the release.
