Original Post 03.10.23 // In the early months of the decade, Jordan Brand launched a special project of wild player-exclusive Air Jordan 1 High edition for their affiliated colleges covered in exotic safari and croc skin. Three years later, Mike’s sponsored colleges are rapidly unveiling a similarly built Low, from UCLA to UNC. Now, the brand’s newest sponsored school — Howard University – joins them by unveiling their ultra-limited pair across social media today.
Featuring premium undyed suede uppers as its core, this pair boasts cracked overlays in Howard University’s rich red hue, complemented by safari-texture Swoosh overlays of navy. The college color trifecta is complete with premium quilted satin liners, insoles featuring the Howard University logo graphic, and added forefoot mini swooshes. The pair is finished with a simple sail sole unit and light gum rubber outsole.
Check out the imagery below for a detailed look at the pair, and expect other Jordan Brand-sponsored college programs to reveal their exclusives soon.
