The Pittsburgh Steelers' NFL Playoffs elimination is still fresh, but the organization seems to already be looking forward to next season. Outside of the gridiron, Jordan Brand has prepped a Spizike Low that could serve as consolation prize for Steeler Nation.
Based on different Air Jordan designs from throughout Michael Jordan's playing career, the hybrid silhouette was developed in partnership with none other than Spike Lee. Its low-top iteration is more of a modern development, but it maintains the mish-mash construction that made it appealing for sneaker collectors in 2006.
For its latest ensemble, the Jordan Spizike Low indulges in a "Black/Speed Yellow" color scheme that sees the bulk of its build opt for a stealthy finish. Elephant print around the forefoot and lower heel, as well as other design elements, however, interrupt in an eye-catching yellow that simultaneously evokes images of bumble bees and Pittsburgh colors.
Enjoy official photos of the newest Spizike Low ahead. Pairs should launch via Nike.com/Jordan by April.
