Throughout the years, Jordan Brand's iconic line has given rise to a multitude of sneaker creations, encompassing renowned hybrid designs like the Spiz'ike and Dub Zero, as well as the celebrated numbered series such as the Air Jordan 37, which was inspired by 1992's Air Jordan 7. By integrating elements from previous designs, the brand has developed innovative lifestyle models infused with modern technology. Staying true to this approach, the Jordan Stadium 90, the latest release, draws heavily from the Air Jordan 5, the 1990 release that lends its name to the new model.
Showcasing a host of design elements borrowed from Tinker Hatfield's original Jordan 5 blueprint, the shoes boast padded collars, netted midfoot panels, sharp forefoot teeth, and Nike Air branding on the back. Moving beyond the legacy, the kicks are embellished with contemporary suede overlays and a more organic shape compared to the original. The final touches include the brand's cutting-edge Formula 23 cushioning system underfoot and nostalgic tongue tags on top.
This, the third colorway to appear, features a clean white, neutral suede, and striking teal mix that adds a contemporary tone to the retro-inspired model.
