Jordan Brand's "X-Ray" T-Shirt Is for those Who Got that Jumpman in Them
Michael Jordan's eponymous, Nike-backed imprint turns 40 this year. Over the last seven months, Jordan Brand has celebrated the occasion with the releases of a meticulously-crafted Air Jordan 1 "Bred" and the Air Jordan 40, its pinnacle expression of performance basketball footwear. Both products champion the past without forgetting about the future. Along the way, the label has also commemorated other bits of MJ's legacy, with the latest effort arriving in the form of two x-ray Jumpman graphic-donning t-shirts.
Presumably part of an expansive Jordan Brand Fall 2025 Apparel Collection, the newly-surfaced crewneck short sleeve tees arrive in "Black" and "White" options. Their main graphic takes on a standard x-ray color scheme and presentation, depicting Michael Jordan's iconic Jumpman pose in the same bluish imaging you get on a doctor's visit. While not completely inspired by the time Jordan broke his foot in 1985, the risky incident previously informed a pair of the Air Jordan 1 Mid.
As is the case with other elite-level athletes, MJ underwent his fair share of physical evaluations during his professional basketball career. His decade-spanning time in the NBA wasn't laden with injuries, but the toll under which he placed his body was gargantuan. Perhaps that's what inspired the "X-Ray" T-Shirt: The idea that wearers have everything the Jumpman represents—excellence, resilience, competitiveness—in them.
Enjoy official photos of both shirts ahead. Pairs should release via Nike.com/Jordan by October.
