Are We Getting a Wider Release of the Patent Leather SoleFly Air Jordan 1s? 🤔

SoleFly’s Art Basel Air Jordan 1 release on December 8th made headlines for all the wrong reasons. Due to safeconcerns for the thousands of sneakerheads who showed up, Miami’s SWAT team were called in to shut down the release.

And that was for the easier pair to cop.

The Patent Leather pair (above), is said to remain a Family and Friends exclusive, with only 23 pairs in existence.

I find that hard to believe, considering the amount of pairs we’ve seen floating around on Instagram; DJ Khaled, PJ Tucker and the SoleFly crew themselves, along with a handful of other influencers getting their hands on the pair.

And with these official images surfacing online over the weekend, one could begin to speculate a wider release — and call bullshit on the ’23 pairs only’ story.

Although a wider release is unlikely, it’s food for thought. If any updates surface, we’ll be sure to keep you posted!
