Despite Phil Knight’s despise for cross-town rivals Oregon State, the Nike founder had the guile to give the college his literal tick of approval. Whilst most of the Nike-branded equipment and apparel is spotted on the field, the brand often delivers the players some special off-field attire, including exclusive Air Jordan PEs. Previously unseen, this Oregon State Air Jordan 1 Mid PE rivals the widely-spread Ducks version from 2021, and is shown in great detail for the first time today courtesy of English Sole
This pair comes dressed in black tumbled leather around the toe, foxing, eyelets, and collar. Orange accents highlight the shoe with Oregon State branding on the heel, “beavers” on the side of each collar, a patent leather segment in each eyestay, as well as the solid orange found on the outsole. A grey swoosh wraps around the lateral and medial sides of the shoes, while the pair is rounded out with spots of white behind the swooshes and on the vamps. Finally, on the tongues, Jordan Brand gave us the Jumpman Air treatment.
