Shoe Palace Pledges Profits from Jordan Flight Court Collab to LA Wildfire Victims
Despite being a new silhouette in the expansive catalog of the Jumpman family, the Jordan Flight Court continues to win over hardcore and casual fans alike. For its latest ensemble, the silhouette has taken on a white, red, and navy color scheme inspired by Los Angeles County's Fire Department—courtesy of Shoe Palace.
As with other projects and initiatives by the family-managed retailer, its next collaboration with Nike, Inc. has a community-oriented element to it. Beyond developing a visually-compelling sneaker, Shoe Palace has used its platform to assist in a greater cause.
In January, some of the most destructive wildfires in California's history affected the Los Angeles Metropolitan area and San Diego County. A portion of the sales from the special non-Air Jordan drop will be donated to victims of the tragic event. The pair arrives with fire department-inspired details, and a Shoe Palace Flight Department-branded jacket has been produced alongside the sneaker; an actual fireman in Pasadena modeled the products in campaign material.
The Jordan Flight Court is scheduled to release exclusively via Shoe Palace on Friday, June 13.
