Jordan Trunner O/S "Planet" Joins Space Jam's 30th Anniversary Collection

By now, it's well known that Space Jam celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Unsurprisingly, Jordan Brand has put together an extensive 30th Anniversary Collection for the film, but what might have been unexpected to most is for the lineup to include the Jordan Trunner O/S.

Rooted in comfort and inspired by retro running shoes, the Trunner O/S has dipped in and out of the spotlight over the last year. The chunky silhouette will surely be overshadowed by the Air Jordan 11 "Space Jam" retro and other commemorative footwear prepped for the milestone celebration, but it may win some audiences over thanks to its autumn-friendly "Terra Blush/Purple Dynasty" color scheme, which gives the sneaker its "Planet" nickname.

Keep an eye on Nike.com/Jordan as pairs of the orange-covered Trunner O/S are expected to launch around Thursday, Nov. 5.
