Teyana Taylor’s partnership with Jordan Brand entered its next phase during NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, where the Teyana Taylor x Air Jordan 3 "Concrete Rose" was presented at her “No Thorns, No Rose” activation. The event provided more than just a first look — it contextualized the shoe within a narrative that has followed Taylor since her debut collaboration.

At the core of the Teyana Taylor x Air Jordan 3 "Concrete Rose" is the idea of Taylor as a rose sprouting from the concrete jungle of Harlem. That premise mirrors the storytelling behind her first Air Jordan 1 release, where resilience, self-belief, and New York grit shaped the creative direction. Here, that same concept evolves rather than repeats, shifting from bold visual statements to a more textured, material-driven execution.

The sneaker features a muted green leather upper, grounded and understated. Beneath it sits a rough, concrete-inspired midsole finish that contrasts with the smoother leather panels above, reinforcing the metaphor of growth through pressure. On-foot imagery from the LA activation highlights how the green tones pair with red styling and floral staging, subtly reinforcing the rose motif without overwhelming the classic Air Jordan 3 structure.

The theme is expressed through rose iconography, gold lace charms, and carefully placed detailing. The heel retains Nike Air branding, anchoring the design in the original 1988 framework while allowing Taylor’s story to take center stage.

The Teyana Taylor x Air Jordan 3 "Concrete Rose" is expected to release on March 14 via Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers.
