The Air Jordan 5 NRG “Fresh Prince” Will Drop in the OG West Philly Sneaker Shop

Jordan Brand are making a very special effort for Will Smith’s 50th birthday. Apart from this Fresh Prince Air Jordan 5 release (which also coincides with Big Willie’s big 5-0), they’re making a big deal out of it in West Philly, Smith’s hometown.

JB are releasing the limited sneaker in the exact store where Will and DJ Jazzy Jeff did their own sneaker shopping back in the day. City Blue Shop of West Philadelphia, one of the earliest purveyors of Nike footwear in West Philly, will release the upcoming Air Jordan 5 “Fresh Prince” at their original 52nd St. location on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a matching tee also available.

As for the rest of us outside of PA, we’ll have to wait on that Nike SNKRS release. We’re expecting these to be a challenge to cop, estimating 50,000 pairs for the stars 50th birthday.
