Jordan Brand look to continue their push towards including new materials in their retro ranges, as well as persist with sub-par “inspirations” for their new colorways. This sneaker draws inspiration from a Jacket Mike wore once on his Saturday Night Live appearance way back in 1991. Whilst I love the use of new materials and even the shoe itself, I do think the link is quite weak, albeit legitimate.

That being said, the quilted upper is actually a nice look for the sneaker and it does come with some pretty nice details and a very dope Jordan Poster mosaic box, again, bringing the element of different to the Jordan retro line. These “Saturday Night Live” / “Pinnacle” Air Jordan 6’s will release online and in select stores on September 28th for $225.
