Now who doesn’t love a Championship Jordan silhouette? The 1996/97 Finals was definitely the best of Michael career, the Flu game performance during Game 5 of the Finals alone is the icing on an unmatchable legacy – so there’s no surprise that the sneakers he wore for that season become immortal to us sneakerheads.
So here’s one of them, a classic silhouette worthy of a celebration. And we firmly believe that any Chicago colorway of a championship winning year deserves a touch of Gold to represent the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy. And it’s such a shame that Mike and his teammates wore Black sneakers during the Finals, because this might have been the perfect home court colorway to close out the series against the Utah Jazz.
