Though demand for the silhouette’s taller counterpart is always at the forefront of discussion, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has quite clearly been one of the brand’s biggest-selling sneakers of the year. Its success is partly due to market saturation, but it’s been the incredible run of colorways that’s seen the silhouette rise from ridicule to acceptance amongst many. Though there has been a significant number of releases, they have quite frequently sold out — and we’re tipping that this new Air Jordan 1 Mid “Apricot” will be yet another of those that will be hard to come by.
Much like the revered “Digital Pink” pair from earlier this year, this too comes with both a similar palette and a myriad of materials in its construction, including suede toes, leathers — textured and tumbled — and heavy-duty canvas. Here, a muted beige plays host to hues both rustic and vibrant — all in the avenue of pink and orange. The latter, in the form of a title “Atomic” hue, provided the pair’s most stand-out features, hitting the collar and forefoot overlays, and tongue branding with gusto, while a more subdued beige settles in at the Wings to match the mid panel and midsole. Completing the design is a soft pink rubber outsole, which once again is designed to reflect the hues resting above it.
As for a release date, one has not yet been specified. So while we await further updates, take in an official look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further developments.
