The Zion Williamson “Bayou Boys” Air Jordan 35 Releases November 21st
Although his rookie campaign was incredibly interrupted, Zion Williamson is still living up to his lofty expectations. So much so that Jordan Brand will be blessing the Pelican Forward with his very own signature sneaker in 2021 dubbed the Z Code. But before we get there, he’ll be getting another NOLA-inspired sneaker, with this “Bayou Boys” Air Jordan 35 set to arrive soon.
Like last year’s PE-turned-GR Jordan 34 of the same name, this pair honors Lousiana’s famous waterways with murky greens and earthy gums. The former hits the midfoot Eclipse plate in a metallic finish, as well as the insoles, with gum rubber outsoles adding to the natural aesthetic. Void of any croc textures, the pair instead opts for a cracked silver finish on the overlays, while uppers and Air Jordan 5-inspired tongues pop in jet black. Midfoot netting also dons the dark hue, and is accented underneath in neon green — a color that also strikes the tongue branding, flecked laced, and eyelets. Completing the design is a two-sided heel tag, one reading Nike Air in honor of the Air Jordan 5’s 30th anniversary, the other reading “Bayou” in a swampy font akin to last year’s AJ34.
In other Jumpman news, the Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” is set to return for Holiday 2021
