Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi—best known across the world as "Kid Cudi"—is a multi-hyphenate in the true sense of the world. Whether in his music, apparel, or acting efforts, he had consistently displayed an ability to adapt and occupy space in a way that comes off authentic.
Known for a steady Air Jordan rotation in the early years of his career, recent history has seen the Ohio-native experiment with footwear—championing the work of Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike and MSCHF. Along the way, the artist designed and launched product with adidas, but that chapter was short-lived. It did, however, help set the stage for a venture the 42-year-old recently teased on Instagram: a footwear partnership with Off-White™.

Although much is still under wraps about the project, the artist's teaser reveals a close-up of a hang-tag included with the sneaker. The yellow-and-black decoration reads, "Off-White™ c/o Scott Mescudi." The model could be the brand's Out Of Office design, which currently retails for $650; special editions can fetch up to $690.
Virgil Abloh, the founder of Off-White™, tragically passed away on Nov. 28, 2021. He and Kid Cudi shared a friendship and admired each other long before the designer casted the musician in his debut Louis Vuitton Menswear show in 2018.
Mr. Mescudi took to social media once more on Monday, March 9, to share photos of other items in his impending collection. More will be revealed soon, but images show hooded sweaters with original artwork from the multi-hyphenate. The hoodies don't seem too dissimilar from the Off-White™ sweaters sold at Costco Canada (yes, you read that correctly).
Stay tuned for more details. While you wait, check out what's new from the Nike Air Max family.
