Two pop culture giants are finally coming together. LEGO and Pokémon have officially announced a partnership that will bring the world of brick building and monster catching together for the first time, set to launch in 2026.
While details remain limited, the official LEGO site confirms that the collaboration — titled LEGO Pokémon — will allow fans to “build and catch some of their favorite Pokémon.” The project marks the first time LEGO has ever created an official Pokémon set, combining one of the most beloved toy lines with one of the most recognizable entertainment franchises on the planet.
The teaser imagery shows a golden LEGO brick shaped like Pikachu’s iconic tail, sparking fan speculation that Pikachu will be amo
ng the first Pokémon featured when the sets arrive. LEGO has hinted that this will be a “real LEGO Pokémon adventure,” inviting trainers of all ages to get creative with the possibilities of brick-built Pokémon worlds.
Given the monumental size of both brands, the 2026 launch will likely include multiple themed sets and possibly interactive tie-ins similar to LEGO’s Super Mario line. For now, fans can stay updated by signing up for the LEGO Insiders newsletter, where members will be the first to know when preorders and official reveals begin.
The LEGO Pokémon collection is expected to launch globally in 2026. For more on Pokémon, make sure to checkout the latest on their upcoming adidas collab.
