Merseyside's Liverpool FC may not be having the 25/26 Premier League everyone expected, but the club continues to be one of the sport's most important. As such, U.S. fashion institution Tommy Hilfiger has recently entered partnership with it.
Announced ahead of Arne Slot and company's Matchweek 21 bout against Arsenal, Liverpool's deal with Tommy Hilfiger follows in the same footsteps as those between Real Madrid, AC Milan, and Barcelona with industry giants Louis Vuitton, Off-White™, and AMIRI, respectively. LFC's North London opponents for this week also put out a full-blown capsule with A-COLD-WALL* last October. The project with Tommy Hilfiger takes a much more refined aesthetic, however, promising to dress Liverpool Men's and Women's squads in seasonal essentials, timeless denim, refined accessories, New York City-inspired dress-casual-wear, and co-branded capsules.
The partnership was announced with the help of the largest Tommy flag ever produced—measuring 101 x 65.59 meters (331.37 x 215.19 feet). The co-branded flag was unveiled across Anfield's pitch.
"It's great to see our LFC club partnership with Tommy Hilfiger go live," said club captain Virgil Van Dijk. "We as players are excited to see the collaboration come to life, bringing together fashion, culture and heritage."
Outside of the Tommy Hilfiger relationship, "The Reds" have been treated to numerous performance and lifestyle collections by adidas. The most recent LFSTLR Collection honors Anfield's Shankly Gates. Visit adidas.com/Liverpool_FC right now to shop all items for the Scousers.
