Virginia's Sean Wotherspoon might best be known for his Nike Air Max collaboration from 2018, but he's accomplished a lot more over the last eight years. For Fall 2026, the multi-hyphenate is teaming up with Mizuno to release two limited-edition pairs of the Wave MG4 LS retro runner.
Presented through Wotherspoon's SWJP imprint, the first-time project between Wotherspoon and the Japanese institution is rooted in the latter's "From City To Nature" philosophy. This idea is explored by the partnership across two distinctly-looking pairs: one predominantly grey-and-black to reflect Shibuya’s harsh landscapes and the other clad in hits of blue and red to represent nature.
The former will exclusively release in Japan, while the second Wave MG4 LS will see a global launch.
Both special pairs from the inaugural SWJP x Mizuno collaboration "LA TO TOKYO" messaging on the lateral heel. The global style incorporates denim material across the upper—a detail that surely reflects Wotherspoon's love of vintage and Japanese denim.
The duo arrives with additional sets of laces to allow wearers to personalize their pairs.
The Mizuni Sportstyle Pack launches on Friday, Oct. 30, at select shops.
