Moncler Unveils Team Brazil Olympic Opening Ceremony Uniforms

Moncler has officially unveiled Team Brazil’s Olympic Opening Ceremony uniforms, marking a notable moment where performance heritage and national identity intersect. Designed in collaboration with Brazilian creative director Oskar Metsavaht, the collection blends technical winter construction with Brazil’s visual language, resulting in a set of ceremonial looks that feel both functional and symbolic.

The uniforms arrive as part of Moncler’s continued return to the highest level of winter sport outfitting. While the brand has remained deeply rooted in alpine performance, this project represents its first Olympic Opening Ceremony partnership since equipping the French ski team at the 1968 Grenoble Winter Games. That historical link underscores the significance of the moment, positioning the Brazil collection as both a forward-looking design exercise and a nod to Moncler’s origins.

Metsavaht’s involvement brings an authentic layer to the collaboration. Known for his long-standing relationship with outdoor culture and winter sports, the designer helped shape silhouettes that balance ceremonial presence with technical intent. White, green, and navy palettes reference Brazil’s national colors, while insulated constructions, sculpted volumes, and modular outer layers reflect Moncler’s mountain DNA.
