Aimé Leon Dore Reveal Two More New Balance 550 Collaborations for Fall

Queens-based streetwear label Aimé Leon Dore will be bringing more New Balance heat in 2022, with another installment of their 550 series on the way for Fall 2022.
In addition to their duo of 650s for Autumn and a recently-revealed 550 in blue suede comes this new two-pack of neutral suede and leather 550s, complete with ALD’s staple aged-look aesthetic.
Both pairs are closely related and intertwined with matching features, with the key difference in material execution. One looks to a hefty layer of suede across the overlays, whilst the other keeps it clean in smooth leathers. Both rest atop aged-look sole units; both also sport creamy mesh toes, while whites fill out the collar, liner, and tongues. The suede offering looks to pops of muted blue at the co-branded tongue – perhaps a tie-in to the aforementioned Blue Suede release — while the leather-based pair goes tonal.
