Where to Buy the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 860v2
Aimé Leon Dore will welcome in the Spring 2023 season with a new 860v2 collaboration with Bostonians New Balance.
The 860v2, initially launched in 2012 as a popular all-purpose running shoe (even earning a coveted Editor's Choice award from Runner's World), has experienced a resurgence in recent years alongside other New Balance models like the 2002R and the 1906R. Now, ALD is embracing the 860v2 for the first time.
The brand has officially unveiled three colorways of the upcoming collaborative sneaker, including green, red, and blue-accented pairs, all of which showcase both metallic silver and gold trim, as well as modified tongue branding. The green and blue pairs sit on a white mesh base, while the red pair opts for a cream-colored mesh for added contrast.
Since its revival in 2019, the 860v2 has been reworked by brands like END., thisisneverthat, and Bodega. Now it’s time for Aimé Leon Dore, whose previous partnerships have focused on older running models like the 991, basketball shoes like the 550, or hiking boots like the Rainier.
The raffle for each pair is currently open and will close on April 5th.
