They say all good things come in threes and for Bodega and the New Balance 997S collaboration, it the gospel truth. Yes, that’s right, the Boston brothers will be adding a third installment to the series, with the Bodega x New Balance 997S “Better Days”

This follows on from their “No Days Off” and “No Bad Days” efforts on the sportified silhouette back in 2019, once again popping a neutral based silhouette with bright colors and textural toolings. Here, grey mesh uppers are overlayed by a bevy of fabrications, from dark grey suede at the toe to smooth tan leathers at the midfoot. Bubbled and criss-crossed panels at the tongue and heel pop in peach and chocolate (delicious!) before resting atop an intriguing split-blocked midsole, and gum rubber outsole. A by of bright accents arrive throughout, including golden-yellow midfoot N’s, volt ABZORB detail in the great, and magenta liners.

First seen on the foot of New Balance hooper Kawhi Leonard last week, the colorful pair has now been officially unveiled by the retailer (as well as popping up in the hands of shoetubers across the ‘gram). A release date is yet to be set, but Bodega will surely follow up the news in the coming days.
