Release Details for Bodega’s “No Bad Days” New Balance 997s Collaboration
Back away, Jack.
The best collaboration of 2019 so far has to got to be boutique store Bodega’s “No Days Off” effort on the 997s. Sure, it didn’t have the hype behind it like last weekend’s Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1, but it’s use of vibrant mismatched materials and tones were so on-point, coming together a modernized silhouette that’s starting to find its feet at market — things really couldn’t have happened at a better time for the collaborative effort. Now, it looks like the Bodega team will be releasing a follow-up colorway of the silhouette. Dubbed “No Bad Days”, this time the pair sports a more subdued palate of green, yellow and orange, playing off a traditional white/black/grey base.
Update 09.18.19 // FINALLY — a release date has been set by the retailer, with a two-pronged release schedule. Pairs will be available via in-store raffles at Bodega’s Boston and LA locations, with the draw open for entry between Sunday, September 22nd and Tuesday, September 24th, with winners being notified that Friday for collection. For those of you outside of the area, pairs will hit Bodega’s official webstore ar 10 am EST on Saturday, September 28th. Take a peep at the official launch photos below and good luck come Friday/Saturday!

Update 08.27.19 // The Boston retailer has once again hinted at a potential release for their “No Bad Days” New Balance 997s, sharing this post below on their official Instagram account. After previously confirming with HOUSE OF HEAT that this was to remain a Family and Friends exclusive, Bodega looks to have caved to the mounting pressure of the community. We’re still waiting on word directly from the retailer regarding its release, so we’ll keep you updated with more details as they arrive.
