New Balance Channels Green Goblin & Silver Surfer for 9060 Caged Duo

New Balance's roster of collaborators might help the brand make the most headlines, but the Boston-based institution keeps the lights on through its plethora of solo efforts. Silhouettes like the New Balance 9060 have been massive successes, proliferating the number of N-branded footwear across the globe. Ahead of Fall 2025, the sneaker's Caged edition has taken on two color schemes that evoke images of Marvel's Green Goblin and Silver Surfer characters.

While not an official collaboration with the Disney property, the newly-surfaced duo features glossy TPU panels on the profiles that create looks deserving of "Green Goblin" and "Silver Surfer" monikers. Each titular tone appears in gradient fashion and sits atop a pitch-black mesh and synthetic base. The exaggerated ABZORB-cushioned sole unit underfoot enjoys a predominantly dark finish, although accents bring some of the upper's green and silver touches below.
