New Balance Coat the Next 9060 in Black and Copper

New Balance is shifting the 9060 into darker territory for Winter, trading its recent streak of bold neons and soft neutrals for something more refined. The upcoming New Balance 9060 “Black/Copper” arrives as a tonal, cold-weather-ready update—one that leans into the silhouette’s layered construction while giving it a fresh metallic edge.

This edition dresses the model in a dominant black base made from a mix of mesh and suede, keeping the shoe’s exaggerated proportions and segmented midsole firmly in focus. The muted backdrop makes room for the hero detail: copper-tinted overlays and branding hits, which run along the toe cap, quarter, heel, and signature “N” logo. The metallic finish is subtle but impactful, adding warmth and depth to the shoe without overwhelming its streamlined palette.

Underfoot, the 9060’s sculpted midsole retains its thick, futuristic stance, paired with ABZORB cushioning and SBS heel pods for stability and comfort. Grey accents on the pods and outsole offer slight contrast and round out an otherwise stealth-forward design—one that feels tailor-made for the colder months.

The New Balance 9060 “Black/Copper” will release on December 3rd, 2025, at JD Sports and additional retailers for $160.
