New Balance Cooks Up a “Malibu Melt” Pack for Cameron Brink
New Balance Basketball is bringing Cameron Brink’s West Coast story to footwear with the “Malibu Melt” Player Exclusive Sneaker Pack, a two-model collection inspired by Los Angeles and the colors of an evening sunset.
The pack pairs the performance-focused New Balance P400 Low with the lifestyle-ready 740, dressing both silhouettes in a mix of vivid blues, purples, blush pinks, and warmer tones. The palette references the glow of the sun over Malibu, with the contrasting shades giving the collection a distinctly Southern California feel.
Built for the court, the P400 Low features a lower collar designed to support mobility, N-Lock technology for added containment, and a lateral midsole inlay for stability. A redesigned nylon plate provides a quicker transition, while reduced internal heights improve court feel. The molded TPU upper balances flexibility with added protection.
The matching New Balance 740 carries the same “Malibu Melt” color story into a more casual setting, extending Brink’s LA-inspired theme beyond basketball.
The Cameron Brink x New Balance “Malibu Melt” Sneaker Pack is expected to release later this year through New Balance and select retailers across North America. The P400 Low will retail for $130, while the 740 will be priced at $120.
