The third time’s a charm for New Balance and Jaden Smith, with the duo set to launch a third effort of the sustainably-led Vision Racer “Surplus”.

Designed with brand ambassador Jaden Smith’s vision at the forefront, this limited edition style pushes the boundaries for sustainably-led footwear at New Balance and incorporates unique, bold, and fashion-forward features that ultimately create a one-of-one silhouette. Notably, each pair of the NB for Jaden Smith Vision Racer “Surplus” leverages surplus textiles and synthetic leathers that alleviate waste and makes use of post-production leftovers for an output that is not only vegan-friendly, but also truly one of a kind.

In the first release of the NB for Jaden Smith Vision Racer, New Balance explored the idea of footwear having as little impact as possible with materials by using recycled content. With the “Surplus” style, the brand continues to be vegan-friendly, even with the randomized materials. After all, these surplus textiles and synthetic leathers are what makes getting a pair so special – nobody will have footwear identical to yours.
