Joe Freshgoods x New Balance ABZORB 2000 "Pink" Is Exclusive to Paris

Joe Freshgoods’ journey from West Side Chicago creative to New Balance’s most active collaborator has been meteoric. And as Paris Fashion Week kicks off, he’s once again in the spotlight with a teaser of his next project — a fresh take on the brand’s newly-launched Abzorb 2000 design.

The in-hand teaser reveals a pink-drenched pair of sneakers, partially tucked into a Louis Vuitton monogram bag, suggesting a thematic link to femininity, luxury, and origin. The insoles are stamped with the phrase “Everything Comes From Pink,” rendered in cursive, seated atop an olive-colored liner. While more profound symbolism is left to interpretation, the messaging seems to touch on themes of womanhood, birth, and love, consistent with Joe’s history of emotionally grounded storytelling.

This release marks the first collaboration for the Abzorb 2000 silhouette, a retro-futuristic model that just debuted at retail. The visible midsole features multiple shades of pink, mirroring Joe’s affinity for warm pastels and cultural messaging through color.

No release date has been confirmed, but with pairs now surfacing in Paris, a drop timed with Fashion Week festivities wouldn’t be surprising. Expect more details — and likely more colorways — to surface in the coming days.
