Kith’s Ronnie Fieg is getting a little sentimental on his latest New Balance collaboration, with this upcoming Kith x New Balance 992 “Steel Blue” honoring the famed OG colorway of the 1300.
Here, Fieg has simply taken the OG 1300’s blocking and migrated it to the 992, including the use of Steel Blue mesh uppers, light grey tongues, underlays, and midsole detail, and smokey grey pigskin overlays from toe-to-tail. Further nodding the OG, the pair comes complete with a light grey/Steel Blue outlined “N” motif at the midfoot, white flashes on the midsole, and a dark grey rubber outsole.
Like pretty much all of Fieg’s teaser over the years, release details alongside the first look below were non-existent, but you can expect the Kith x New Balance 992 “Steel Blue” to release very soon — possibly as a KITHSTRIKE release, so keep it locked on our official Twitter account for updates.
