Not a single day of 2026 has gone by and New Balance might've already previewed the year's best everyday running shoe.
On Jan. 15, 2026, the Boston-based heritage brand will debut the 1080v15, the latest iteration of its beloved performance series. Built upon the widely-successful 1080v13 and 14's blueprint, the 15th edition of the daily trainer abandons Fresh Foam X cushioning in favor of an all-new Infinion solution. Described as "long-lasting," Infinion has been developed with the goal of making every run feel like your first in the shoe, combating the dullness that affects common cushioning in everyday trainers.
The traction setup underfoot is generally similar to its immediate predecessors, but the contoured, perforated mesh upper introduces a sportier, refreshing aesthetic while still providing ample breathability. Padding also appears across the top-half's build, ensuring your feet are well-protected and comfortable on any run.
Enjoy detailed shots of the 1080v15 running shoe ahead. Pairs are scheduled to launch in Men and Women's sizing via NewBalance.com on Thursday, Jan. 15. The sneaker is priced at $170.
